Designing client focus new builds, additions and renovations

- Oak Street House
Oak and Fifth Working with the Queens’ Park Design Guidelines, we were able to find a great solution for the homeowner that maximized allowable square footage while respecting the relatively low-height, modest-scale character of the block. The English Cottage style was chosen to solve this challenge.
- Bute Street
Bute Street Function and flow. An opportunity for a full renovation presented itself when a pipe burst and flooded this downtown condo. In an 827-square-foot space, clever and convenient storage space is a must. We put in glass shelves, drawers and a cabinet within a wall in the hallway, making utensils and spices easily accessible to both the kitchen and dining area.
- Ford Road
Ford Road The key to designing a house for a young couple planning on starting a family is to build a home with room to grow. With a vision to achieve a minimalist aesthetic — high ceilings, large windows, neutral tones, prismatic & cylindrical lighting and decor have all been incorporated to create this warm, open-concept home.
- Lee Building
Lee Building Award-winning This studio apartment is located in one of Vancouver’s premier heritage buildings. It offered unique opportunities and challenges, but the goal was to create a comfortable and relaxing 628-square-foot studio with great flow that took advantage of the breathtaking views of False Creek. From the use of the unique re-imagined antique wood island, which allows for more kitchen space, a dining table as well as a workspace, to unique materials used to maximize the bathroom, every square inch of this apartment was considered and reworked for maximum efficiency.

– “Best Condo Renovation: Under $300k”- Port Moody Ensuite
The owners of this lovely Port Moody ocean-view home were looking to update their master ensuite, though the home has many updated features, the ensuite was still in original condition and needed a new look. The new ensuite features a custom walk-in shower with a rain forest shower head, a freestanding soaker tub and crystal cabinet handles, this is the ultimate luxurious master ensuite. Natural light illuminates the counters, backsplash and floors by shining through the skylight. Floor-to-ceiling drapery adds a sophisticated look to the bright bathroom atmosphere.
- Contemporary Ensuite Renovation
From out-of-date to contemporary. The retired homeowners of this Kerrisdale two-story home were looking to not only update their master ensuite, but also create a space that would be comfortable, functional and would accommodate their changing needs as they grew older. We turned this master ensuite into a calm, open space. The installation of wall mounted cabinets and toilet, a glass enclosed shower and a large mirror above the bathtub, gives the feeling of more room throughout the ensuite.
- Kitsilano Full Interior Renovation
The owners of this large ideally suited Kitsilano apartment were looking to renovate this original condition 1990’s condo. The apartment had sought after outdoor spaces, but the interior felt very closed and was in desperate need to be transformed into a more open concept space. With a rework of the floor plan and in genius use of materials, we were able to create a sumptuous ensuite and a large living room. We also constructed a gourmet kitchen and a dining room that at once could be both open to the kitchen and made private with the use of a folding door system.
- West 47th
With a desire for a modern entertaining home, an open concept design corresponded with the homeowners’ ideas and wishes. This project was a full interior and exterior renovation, aiming for a modern west coast appeal. To create a second master suite, we removed the partition walls separating 3 small bedrooms on the top floor. Strategic lighting plans in the main floor areas and installation of tile flooring and dark stained wood gives the home a refined look.
